Bobby Jamieson lecture

All are welcome to this lecture on 'Going Public' - a biblical approach to baptism and church membership. It's on Monday 8th May at 7.30pm, followed by Q&A and light refreshments. 

Guest lecturer Bobby Jamieson is finishing up a PhD in New Testament, focusing on atonement in Hebrews, at the University of Cambridge, where he is also affiliated lecturer in New Testament Greek. He has been called to serve as associate pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and hopes to begin in July. He and his wife Kristin have three children and are members of Eden Baptist Church. Bobby previously studied at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and served as assistant editor for 9Marks. He is the author of Sound Doctrine: How a Church Grows in the Love and Holiness of God, Going Public: Why Baptism Is Required for Church Membership, Understanding Baptism, and Understanding the Lord's Supper.
